Kyadondo East lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine was treated to a heroic welcome on his arrival in Masaka town for the DP reunion meet.
His arrival in Masaka paralysed business as hundreds of locals thronged the roadsides to welcome pop music star turned politician as they sang praising songs while others chanted the now famous ‘People Power’ slogan.
The way how the ‘Kyarenga’ hit singer was welcomed furthermore proved that he is still a thorn in the back to the ruling government with just a few months he has spent in active politics.
This also could have confirmed that despite the alleged torture he sustained while in military detention, he is not about to back off until his mission is done and dusted.
