Bobi Wine treason case adjourned until December

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and Thirty-three (33) others who are accused of treason charges, their case has been put on hold until December 3, 2018. 

The Gulu Grade One Magistrate, Mr Yusuf Ndiwalana postponed the case after a request from the state prosecutor Julius Ochen as his team asked for more time to carry out investigations.

This was today when Bobi Wine and his other 33 co-accused members had appeared before the Gulu Magistrates Court for mention of their cases.

Bobi Wine’s lawyer Mr Asuman Basalirwa, in his submission asked the state to present to court  President Museveni’s car that was allegedly stoned during the Arua by-election fracas that took place on 13 August 2018. 

Mr Gerald Karuhanga, Atiku Shaban, Gamba Tumusime and Abola Jane were not present but represented by their sureties and lawyers.

However Bobi Wine’s bodyguard Eddy Mutwe was denied bail but told to return on Thursday for his bail hearing.
