Acholi Angel is a budding Ugandan musician who is based in the United States of America.
She has so far spent 11 years in the US with annual visits back home always trying to push her music in her regional area.
When once in a while you bump into her walking on the streets of Gulu town she walks with swag as she isa darling in the area for some few things she has put her hands on to promote a few artists in the region.
Angel, legally known as Akumu Whitney, has dreams and hopes of becoming one of Uganda’s finest female stars in the music industry.
She has done a few songs that have got her recognized in the US and back home in Gulu. She has songs like ‘Work’ featuring Ziggy Dee which has worked quite well for her aboard, ‘Jopaduny’ just to mention a few.
Acholi Angel, who is now managed by a Ugandan music veteran revealed to this reporter that come next year she is willing to turn all her efforts to music so that she gives the now famous music stars a run for their money in the game.
