In a story we wrote earlier today, we indicated how veteran singer Viboyo Oweyo had spent a night in jail after being arrested on allegations that he used offensive language against the President and Speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga.
Friends of the singer and close associates who visited him at Jinja Road Police Station where he has been held for all these hours indicated that he had been released this afternoon.
