We might have to put our excitement on hold for a moment. Mary Luswata’s comeback on Urban TV seems to be unlikely after it was revealed that she put it on hold due to various reasons.
Mary Luswata is the motormouth whose venomous gossip always irked several Ugandan celebrities due to the nature of her scandalous Sqoop On Sqoop show on Urban TV. Her show exposed so much about celebrities personal lives.
She took time off to focus on parenthood and the holiday was announced to be over a few weeks ago after it was announced that she will be replacing Judithiana on her Saloon Talk show on Urban TV.
Mary’s return however is likely to take longer than we expected. Reportedly, Mary and the Urban TV management failed to come to terms regarding her pay.
It is believed that a few terms in the contract between both parties failed to reach an agreement. Mary is said to demand a UGX 5M salary in order to take over the new show yet Urban TV cannot pay that much.
Due to the above, Mary Luswata’s return might have to wait a little longer. We just hope they agree because we cannot wait to have a portion of her new vibe.
