Ugandan president H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has described Uganda Cranes players as ‘weak and in need of proper feeding’ ahead of their match against Lesotho on Saturday 13th October.
As part of the preparations towards their 2019 AFCON qualifiers match against Lesotho, the Uganda national football team visited President Museveni at State House Entebbe on Wednesday morning.
Many issues were discussed by the coach Sebastien Desabre and other team officials as President Museveni generously effected the sponsorship of the Uganda Cranes’ trip to Lesotho in the return leg slated for Tuesday 16th October 2018.

The President also commented on what he thinks is the biggest weakness in the current team. He was sure to mention that “the players’ shots were lacking in power” and he hopes the managers can do something about the diet and training to improve that.
I watched some of their games in Gabon but noticed their shots were lacking in power. I hope the managers can do something about the diet and training to ensure the players are stronger, like the late David Otii was. pic.twitter.com/72hceOe6gm
