The Management of Namboole stadium has dropped musician cum politician Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine’s concert because of a wedding slated for the same date in the same venue.
The announcement was made in a letter dated October 11th 2018. The managing director of Namboole Mr Jamil Ssewanyana Mpagi, wrote while replying to Bobi Wine’s team saying that the stadium was pre-booked to host two events.
Kindly note that the stadium has got two(2) pre-booked events namely the Uganda Athletics Federation Workshop from 15th October to 26th October and a wedding ceremony on 20th October 2018,

He then went on to advise that Bobi Wine’s team choose another date for the event and get a clearance from the Uganda Police.
Bobi Wine who is currently in Kenya has not yet given a comment on the issue as his fans point out that the ‘dirty politics’ could be playing a big part in this.
