U.S rapper Kanye West and wife Kim Kardashian have met Uganda’s President H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at State House Entebbe to discuss issues pertaining tourism and music.
Kanye and Kim travelled to Entebbe after touring Uganda’s wildlife at the Murchison Falls National Park on Sunday.
In a tweet after the meeting, the head of state thanked Kanye for “white sneakers” a gift the latter offered. “I thank Kanye for the gift of white sneakers. Enjoy your time in Uganda. It is the true Pearl of Africa.” Museveni, Kanye and Kim talked about promoting Uganda’s tourism industry in the presence of first son and former Special Forces commander Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
