Eddy Kenzo continues on his quest to dominate the African airwaves with yet another collaboration with Grammy award winner Brian Soko and Nigerian producer Masterkraft.

Brian Soko (born 1991) is a Grammy award winning Zimbabwean songwriter and record producer based in the United States of America. He won three awards at the 2014 edition of the Broadcast Music Inc (BMI) R&B/Hip-Hop Awards for composing Beyonce’s song Drunk in love in 2014 and a Grammy for his production efforts in the same project.

He was born in Zimbabwe, relocated to South Africa and later moved to USA with his parents. He has similar traits to Eddy Kenzo having played football at a top level as well before deciding to concentrate on music.

Sunday Ginikachukwu Nweke a.k.a Masterkraft on the other hand is a celebrated Nigerian producer who has worked with various African and global music stars.


Eddy Kenzo hinted that he has already recorded a song with the two African music giants and will soon be out. We re not sure yet whether the song will be part of the soon to unveiled Roots album but we await to discover more.

That is how Eddy Kenzo continues to raise that Ugandan flag up high!
