Kyadondo East lawmaker Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, in company of other Members of Parliament visited the victims affected by mudslides in Bududa district.
During their visit, Bobi Wine and his fellow MPs offered relief in terms of mattresses and other basic needs to the visibly gutted victims of the mudslides and landslides.
They also promised to push for a proper understanding of the problem, proper planning, and subsequent budget allocation to mitigate the disaster.
As expected, masses gathered on hearing that Bobi Wine was at their midst and they all you would hear for most part of the day were ‘People Power’ slogans being chanted as the Parliamentarians dished out words of hope to the victims.
