We sat down and had a chat with Voltage Music duo, Kent and Flosso, talking about the Ugandan  music industry and they revealed that disunity and hypocrisy are the major killers of talent.

Throughout the interview, Kent and Flosso talked about their past projects and general experiences for the few years they have spent doing music professionally.

They acknowledge that music is a lucrative industry that has made them popular and relatively financially stable.

The duo believes that there are very many talented musicians in the +256 but just a few get the credit they deserve simply because of the lack of unity that has engulfed the industry.

They attribute the current weaknesses affecting the music industry to the ‘roots’ of this industry.

Kent personally believes that the pioneers built their dominance based on beef which in a way personalized the entire industry and the new generational artistes cannot change much today.

Having know the disease, what could be the sure?
