Uganda’s best animation short movie A Kalabanda Ate My Homework again scooped a nomination at the 8th edition of the  Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) awards which will be held in Lagos.

This is the movie’s third nomination in a space of less than two weeks since it was selected in Armenia’s ReAnimania Art Festival in Yerevan and Fupitoons Festival in Johannesburg South Africa.

AFRIFF is Africa’s most vibrant film festival experience as it consistently delivers an energetic and exciting hub of people in the industry making connections with gradually built reputations for delivering real value.

The festival delivers awards and monetary prizes in categories such as; Feature, Documentary, Short, Animation and Students Short, as well as awards and prizes in Directing, Acting and Screenplay.

It also has special awards for Audience choice and a Jury award for outstanding film.
