We have to always be cautious of what we wear of late, some clothes might land us into trouble. Local rapper T Bro spent some time in jail after he was arrested for wearing a shirt with People Power slogans.
As you prepare to find your way to One Love Beach Busabala on Saturday for the Kyarenga Concert, take note that wearing attires with People Power slogans has been criminalized, at least according to what we have witnessed.
T Bro is a Kiga-flow rapper who is very popular in Western Uganda for his songs like Zunguza Omutwe, True Man, Podium, Ali Nka Bata, among others.
He was arrested over the past weekend in Kasubi after falling suspect to be part of the People Power group because of his dress code.
T Bro, who was putting on a red shirt with slogans, was thrown in the coolers at Kawaala Police Station before he could even reach his destination at a local kafunda where he had been booked to perform for his fans.
The self-styled King Kiga was warned never to put on such attires citing that they are used to incite violence.
His release was effected by a fellow artiste who paid a police bond before he was set free.
