Local musician Bucha Man on Thursday night survived spending a night in the coolers after UMEME personnel and Police raided their studios.
UMEME officials who highly suspected Bucha Man’s studio to be using electricity illegally first tipped police as a backup force in order to have a successful operation at the studios.
As anticipated, the officials and police officers found some resistance as they tried to access the premises. They were locked outside the gate which forced them into a scuffle with Bucha Man’s crew members.
After a while of heated arguments and shoving, Bucha Man came to calm the situation down and he allowed the UMEME personnel and police to access the studio.
Bucha Man and the officers where seen having a little chat, and then the singer left with them to the Police Station. He luckily enough managed to return after a couple of hours of questioning.
