While appearing on NTV’s Mwasuze Mutya program, singer Eddy Kenzo stressed that fellow artists call in at several media houses asking why his ‘fake’ songs keep on receiving airplay.
Kenzo made the remarks on Friday when the show host, Faridah Nakazibwe, asked him what he thinks about the Ugandan music industry.
In reply, the Don’t Care singer opened up saying that he thinks he is the most hated musician in the country.

He went ahead and revealed that most artistes, especially the established ones, hate him and do not want his music to be played anywhere.
Most of the established artistes hate me, they try to make sure my music is not heard. They call on radios and TV stations asking why my ‘fake’ songs keep on receiving airplay.
Kenzo said in an interview
Furthermore, Kenzo gave an example of his new song Don’t Care saying that it has not received much airplay like it deserves citing that even no one even really cares.
