Again, the government of Tanzania led by H.E John Pombe Magufuli has banned another music video titled Mwanza on which Diamond Platnumz features Rayvanny over obscenity.

In only three days, Mwanza stands close to 1.5 million views on YouTube. It is another Afro-dancehall song where Diamond Platnumz features fellow WCB singer Rayvanny.

According to Wasafi, the song is about Mwanza, the port city on the southern shore of Lake Victoria in North Western Tanzania. The intentions are to share the culture with a good dance vibe song.

As you would expect, the song had a massive reception upon release and it has been trending online but the government believes it is all for the wrong reasons which violate the country’s regulations.

It has been described as ‘an art that encourages and promotes sexual thrill’ and hence very immoral and against the norms, cultures, and law of Tanzania.

It has henceforth been banned from playing on any radio and television station.

This is not the first song by Diamond that is being banned in his home country after Hallelujah and Kwangwaru were also pointed out as immoral.

We shall let you be the judge of that. Take a look;
