In the past editions, we have seen several celebrated Ugandan artistes take part in the Coke Studio Africa show but who is representing the +256 in the 2018 edition?

From Jose Chameleone, to Juliana Kanyomozi, to Radio and Weasel, Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool, Rema, Lydia Jazmine, Ykee Benda, Lilian Mbabazi, etc.

Many other Ugandan artists and producers have had a chance to rub shoulders with other African music stars at Coke Studio.

The show has seen the birth of major collaborations that have exposed Ugandans to the rest of Africa and its contribution is very visible.

The 2018 edition of the show has already kicked off but is expected available on our screens in February 2019.

Among the Ugandans who have already made their way to Kenya where it is being held are; Sheebah Karungi, Alvin Kizz, and Fik Fameica.

They will be working with other African acts in Khaligraph Jones (Kenya), Rayvanny (Tanzania), Messias (Mozambique), Mahlet (Ethiopia), among others.

Selected artists are to spend the forthcoming weeks creating music at the recording studios of Coke Studio Africa in Nairobi.

They will be paired alongside renown African music producers to make music that will connect people across the continent.

We wish them the very best!
