Singer Irene Namubiru Morel has this afternoon revealed how a Kampala University Student (KIU) saved her life during the tragic boat cruise accident on Lake Victoria over the weekend.
The identity of Namubiru’s rescuer and hero is Masole Brain who did not only save her life but also many others who might not be as famous as her.
According to Namubiru, Masole made three rounds, returning to the lake in an attempt of trying to save more lives until he made sure that there were no other persons alive.

Namubiru said that Masole and some other friends from KIU, who had hired a boat to have some fun at a nearby Island, heard and saw their boat capsizing.
He rushed and took his friends to the shores and returned to their rescue.
She went on to narrate that Masole saw the light on her phone as she kept on waving up and he came straight to her asking for her phone, bag, and shoes. He then pulled her into the boat.
Namubiru, on getting into the boat, also tried to pull Mrs Bisase (the wife to the owner of the boat) out of the water.
Bisase had tightly grabbed onto the boat but her life jacket got stuck under the boat and she unfortunately drowned.
