Sandra Nankoma poses with her AFRIMA award

Upon her return to Uganda singer Sandra Nankoma, who bagged the Best Female African Inspirational Music award at the AFRIMA awards, straight away took a jab at Ugandan media houses.

The Kaddugala singer revealed that it is okay to be denied airplay because she can use other means to spread the positive vibes.

She also used the opportunity to advise fellow dark skinned women not to bleach.

Nankoma who totally disagrees with this era, where many girls and women are bleaching to fit in society, seems to be disappointed by the Ugandan media for not playing her music.

Now after winning the continental award, she seems to have all the courage to speak out her mind and she reminds Ugandan media houses of how her inspirational music needs the same airplay as other songs.
