As the Uganda government has declared Friday a day for national mourning, Bryan White has continued to extend a helping hand to some of the victims on the lake Victoria tragedy.

As our hearts slowly start to believe and as emotions fall into place, city philanthropist Bryan White paid to the family of the fisherman believed to have lost his life trying to save others’ lives following the Lake Victoria boat accident.

Efforts are still underway to retrieve the sunken boat

On Saturday 24th November 2018, Uganda was filled with grief after learning of the tragedy in which a boat sunk carrying over 100 people on it.

A few people survived as several lost their lives including a fisherman who risked his life to save others.

In some of the stories told by a few of the 27 survivors, there was a fisherman who reacted quickly to the alarm of the revelers who started screaming when they learnt that the boat they were on was starting to sink.

He managed to save a few lives but lost his own in his heroic efforts.

Bryan White visited the family of the fallen hero as he tried to comfort the family of the deceased hero.

We pray that his soul rests in peace!
