Despite the early morning drizzles and the scotching sunshine at noon, none could deter Kampala cake lovers from thronging the Kampala Cake Fair Festival in large numbers.

At the event’s 2nd edition that was held at Uganda Museum on Sunday, cake lovers got to meet and interact with inspirational professionals in the cake business.

The event that attracted over 20 different cake bakers saw kids and celebrities take part in bake-off competitions.

Beginners and professionals who needed to up their skills were served to an inspiring and educational experience as well.

With lots of cakes that came in different sizes, shapes and colors, those in attendance were treated to a cake bonanza as many were seen at the event enjoying cake.

Swangz Avenue’s first lady Vinka  wrapped up the show with an energetic performance as revelers sang and danced along to her tunes.
