When was the last time you came across the name Margla? Yes, she is still alive and kicking. She celebrated her daughter’s fourth birthday and we have some photos for you.
Not so many years ago, around 2012, Margla da Raggamuffin Gyal was a household name in the dancehall music genre.
Her energy during performances, a couple of controversial moments, and her bad girl attitude made her popular among Ugandan music fans.
Her shot at fame did not last long enough however after she met a man that swept her off her feet.
Margla left Uganda for a few years to go live with her prince charming in Turkey and they have a beautiful daughter together.
She returned to Uganda a few months ago and she seems to be in perfect shape. Could we be seeing her in the industry again? We can’t tell as yet but she is surely being the best mother for her daughter Elsie.
