Renown Ugandan deejay, Mutebi Eryck a.k.a DJ Erycom has launched his political career as he intends to become the next MP for his hometown in Mityana South.

Whereas some celebrities have found it easy to break through into Uganda’s political frame, it has been such a struggle for others.

Even after achieving the seat in parliament, the likes of Bobi Wine have nearly lost their lives in the very heated political atmosphere.

Despite all, they have achieved quite much in the field and they continue to soar among the citizens who badly want change to happen regardless of the background of those making their desires effective.

Veteran Ugandan disk jockey, DJ Erycom, is now intending to add his name to the ever growing list of celebrities joining the parliament.

He is set to stand as a candidate in the 2021 general elections contesting for the seat of Mityana South Member of Parliament.

He made his intentions known through his widely followed social media platforms;
