Firebase Crew singer Bobi Wine, real names Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, escaped and hid from police authorities who raided City Hotel in Jinja in search of him ahead of show at Queens Palace.

On Saturday night, singer and MP Bobi Wine was expected to perform in Jinja but his show was canceled after police raided the venue and hotel where he was resting prior to the show.

The real reasons behind his attempted arrest have not been laid out as yet by police or its representatives but he has, on several occasions, been stopped from performing at various events around the country.

Ahead of his show in Jinja, the hotel where he was expected to be resting was raided by armed policemen as they made several arrests.

Four members of his team were arrested but Bobi managed to escape from them again and he hid away from their reach as searches went on throughout the night.

The Kyadondo East member, from an unknown location, kept updating his followers through his social media platforms about whatever was happening.

In his last post of the night, he revealed that his team members had been beaten and ordered out of Jinja town on gunpoint.

He also exposed that a search for him had been mounted and several roadblocks had been installed in efforts to capture him.
