In the wee hours of Friday morning, Aruu county Member of Parliament Honorable Odonga Otto was involved in an accident at Katugo in Luwero.

According to reports, Otto in company of his driver, survived with injuries after the car in which they were riding rammed into a stationary lorry which had earlier overturned in the middle of the road.

It took a while before the injured Otto and his driver received rescue from the wreckage and the MP was complaining of chest pains.

Asan Kasingye, the Assistant Inspector General of Police confirmed that Otto had been involved in the accident and sustained slight injuries.

The MP had a CT scan at Lacor Hospital in Luwero before being transported back to Kampala for further treatment in an ambulance.
