Former Liverpool FC forward El Hadji Ousseynou Diouf joins the list of those confirmed to visit Uganda to celebrate Eddy Kenzo’s achievement as he makes ten years in the music industry.
As we build up to the ‘Ten Years Of Eddy Kenzo’ concert, several celebrities continue to confirm their presence at the singer’s concert.
Among those is two time African footballer of the year El Hadji Diouf. The 37 year old Senegalese is expected to arrive in Uganda on Thursday 3rd January 2019.
He will play in a charity game with Kenzo’s XI at Lugogo on 4th January and later on attend the Sitya Loss singer’s concert at Serena Hotel.
Diouf is one of Africa’s best ever footballers having played at some of the biggest clubs in Europe including Liverpool, Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland, Blackburn Rovers, Doncaster Rovers and Leeds United.
Before retirement, Diouf played 486 career matches, scoring 70 goals. His football career garnered him a lot of wealth and he runs his own sports newspaper business in Dakar, Senegal.
Diouf joins several other football stars, including Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Victor Wanyama, who are expected to attend Kenzo’s concert.
The show is expected to be one of a kind as many celebrated African musicians have also confirmed their presence.
