“Today they want politics to influence music but do not want music to influence politics. Hypocrites of hypocrites“, such were the words as Bobi Wine revealed how government is biased and unfair.
As the scuffle between police and Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine keeps going on, the singer has attacked the government for its unfairness.
With him being banned from performing anywhere around Kampala, the singer fails to make sense of how he can be stopped from performing for his fans on grounds that he has politicized his music.
He argues that the ruling party was the first to politicize music in the last presidential campaigns when they paid several artistes to come up with the ‘Tubonga Nawe’ project.
He takes more jabs saying that this is the game he very well knows to play and it is the reason he is being singled out yet it was the ruling party that started it all.
About the police stopping people from dressing red attires at the forthcoming Nkuuka celebrations on 31st December, Bobi Wine urged Ugandans not to be intimidated and to dress anyway they wish.
