Ugandan pop star-turned-politician Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine has again made his nation proud after winning the Africanews Personality of the Year award.
The Kyadondo East MP scooped the accolade beating his competitors by a landslide margin where he garnered 85% of the votes.

The Prime Minister of Ethiopia Mr Abiy Ahmed had 7%, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame and the Ebola fighters in Congo languished with 4% each.
Bobi Wine’s name has been also included on the list of the 2017 and 2016 winners who are Kemi Seba and Denis Mukwege respectively.
