Police is still holding my belongings without clear reasons – Bobi Wine

Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine has today claimed that Police is still in possession of his belongings without any clear reason.

Bobi Wine made the statement while appearing before Gulu Grade One Magistrates Court today.

Among the items that Bobi Wine accused Police of holding was his wedding ring, iPhone, a wrist-watch, shs. 3.5 million, 600 US Dollars and two identity cards, of which one is of Parliament and the other of his university.

Bobi Wine with 34 others, were today appearing in Gulu Court for a treason case after they were allegedly accused of tempering with the President’s convoy last year in August.

Other suspects like Hon. Kassiano Waddri, also claimed that Police took 85 million shillings from him, whereas Nighty Asara also added that Police took her copies of the Rule of Producer, Death Certificate and two panties.

The court case was adjourned to the 14th of March as the Magistrate ordered CIDs of Gulu and Arua to appear in court and explain under what circumstances are they keeping the property of the accused.
