Singer Moses Ssali, alias Bebe Cool has hinted that artistes do not get what they deserve out of their music.
He made the claims while in an interview as he urged that he almost invests $25,000 a year in music videos and audios, but has never got what he thinks he deserves despite performing at several shows.
The Wasibuka Wa singer added that it’s even worse when he performs abroad after being questioned if he gets that amount of money when he performs out of Uganda.
I invest almost $25,000 in my music but I spend a year without earning $35,000 a year out of works and when it comes to performing abroad it is even worse.
Bebe Cool said
He made the statement while debating about the issue putting in place the proposed regulations that will be governing public entertainers an idea which he strongly supported.
