Bobi Wine impresses at Jamaica’s Rebel Salute Festival

Ugandan singer Bobi Wine became the first East African artiste to perform at Jamaica’s Rebel Salute Festival and what an impression he left in the Caribbean land!

As we had initially broken the news to you last year, Robert Kyagulanyi a.k.a Bobi Wine traveled with his wife to Jamaica’s capital Kingston.

He was invited to perform at the two-day Rebel Salute Festival on 18th and 19th of January at Grizzly’s Plantation Cove in St. Ann Parish Jamaica.

On Saturday, Bobi and his wife shared a few videos of themselves enjoying the Jamaican vibe as they went on to meet several world ragga, reggae, and dancehall music icons.

The event climaxed on Sunday evening as the full line up of the booked artistes stepped on stage to express their art, one by one.

The event organised by Tony Rebel included some of the best artistes in Queen Ifrica, Jah Cure, Mr Vegas, Chi Ching Ching, Turbulance, Fantan Mojah, King Kong, among others.

Africa was represented by Nigeria’s wonder boy Patoranking and Uganda’s Bobi Wine who gave the very best of himself on a live band.
