Bobi Wine‘s young brother Mikie Wine has refuted reports that suggested he was eyeing the Kyadondo East constituency Parliamentary seat in the 2021 elections.

The Sulubada High School Entertainment Crew President made the clarification while stressing that media houses had taken him out of context.

The Yanimba singer furthermore asserted that his comments were focused on encouraging everyone, especially the young people, to take on the mantle of leadership but did not declare running for Kyadondo East Constituency seat in 2021.

I wish to clarify that my statement was taken out of context. My words were focused on encouraging everyone, especially young people to know that their time is now and they should not fear to take on the mantle of leadership. That was not a declaration to stand. Let it be known that I have not yet declared running for the Kyadondo East Constituency seat in 2021.

Having distanced himself from reports that linked him to the Kyadondo East constituency seat, we don’t know where this leaves Andrew Mukasa of Bajjo Events.

Just a few weeks back, Bajjo while with Mikie Wine clearly announced how Mikie Wine was going to contest for the Kyadondo East MP seat.
