Catherine Kusasira declines to record a statement

Local artiste, Catherine Kusasira also known as ‘Minister wa mabugo’ loosely translated as ‘Minister for condolences’ has refused to record a statement in a case where her car was shot at.

This is after the incident that transpired on Tuesday night in Makindye, when Ret. Major General Kasirye Ggwanga shot at Catherine Kusasira’s tyre.

He claimed that her boys had assaulted his ‘American-grown’ son, and that he was saving lives since they were driving drunk.

Catherine, who is a complainant in this case, has failed to show face at the police to have her statement recorded. This is according to the Uganda Police Force;

Well let’s hope that Catherine Kusasira didn’t chicken out. Considering that all the other people that have had head-on collisions with Kasirye Ggwanga have always dropped the cases.
