NBS Television Journalist Simon Kaggwa Njala shocked his viewers earlier on today morning when he expressed that journalists are operating in a hostile environment.

While on the show Mr Kaggwa Njala boldly let out his disappointment with the environment in which journalists are operating lately.

He stressed that covering a story and you go home safe is really hard today unless if one is covering singer Bebe Cool’s concert.

We’re operating in a very hostile environment, the only story you can cover and go home safe is a Bebe Cool concert.

Simon Kaggwa Njala said

Mr Kaggwa Njala made the remarks as he was explaining the turmoil concerning his colleague and fellow senior investigative journalist Solomon Serwanjja whose home was raided by police.

The police arrested Solomon’s wife and two other BBC correspondents who were covering an investigative report linked to inappropriate usage of government drugs.
