There are levels in everything and Bebe Cool warns upcoming artistes against rushing into jumping on collaborations with more established artistes.

The Gagamel CEO himself started from scratch and built his own empire without much help from big stars. The same applies to Jose Chameleone, Bobi Wine, and the Goodlyfe (Radio and Weasel).

Bebe now advises smaller artistes to always desist from doing collaborations with bigger artistes because it creates pressure and a void which is hard to fill.

I discourage small artistes from collaborating with big artistes because all the songs they will release afterwards will not get to become big songs.

The ‘Easy’ singer believes that it is better for upcoming artistes to build their careers slowly but surely rather than creating unnecessary hype by collaborating with big name stars trying to skip stages.

With the increasing number of one-hit wonders in the industry, he has a point in this, doesn’t he?
