Do you remember a time when Ugandan artistes were attacking Disc Jockeys (DJs) for overplaying West African music in bars and events?
The period, as artists demanded fair airplay from deejays, caused a stir between both parties. Weasel came out and revealed that the problem was not even with the DJs.
The Good Lyfe singer explained that the problem arose because Ugandan artists were very poor musically, something which they (him and Radio) acknowledged and worked upon.
When the GoodLyfe and other musicians upped their game and the quality of their music, the battle amongst DJs and artistes came to a halt.
He believes that it is the sole reason why Ugandan musicians also enjoy a fair share of airplay everywhere today.
