Alexander Bagonza a.k.a A Pass believes that he was better than fallen Goodlyfe singer Mowzey Radio when it came to English lyrics.

Yesterday, while replying to a tweet from a fan who acknowledged his talent and equated it to the fallen singer’s, A Pass revealed that he does not fall far away from Radio’s league.

I appreciate but I think I was better than Radio when it came to English songs and he was better in Luganda songs but art wise I think we are a little different when it comes to music, expression and lyrics.

A Pass

It should be remembered that Mowzey Radio was such a versatile artiste whose songs contained lyrics in different languages including Luganda, English, Swahili, Lusoga, among others.

His songwriting skills were almost unmatched and he bagged numerous awards including a HiPipo Songwriter of the Year award a month after his death last year.

He wrote songs for several artistes including Rema Namakula, Desire Luzinda, Lydia Jazmine, Lilian Mbabazi, among others.

At the time of his death, Radio is reported to have written and recorded over 229 songs, 11 albums, and had unrecorded music still in studio.

We are not going to take sides here, we shall leave that to you. With all due respect however, both artistes are gifted with amazing talents.

Who was better, in your own opinion, and why?
