Summons were issued to trending Kampala socialite Shanita Namuyimba a.k.a Bad Black. Police want her questioned for allegedly abusing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
As she goes an extra mile to trend and keep her fans on social media entertained and locked onto her Facebook and Snapchat pages, Bad Black has stepped on some toes.
Allegedly, in August last year, Bad Black recorded a video in which she tried to decline reports that Bobi Wine had stoned the president’s vehicle following the Arua fracas.
As she tried to defend the Kyadondo East MP, Bad Black abused the president and went ahead to claim that the head of state impregnated her in 2000.
She allegedly further claimed that the president helped pay for her abortion. The video was then shared on social media to everyone’s amusement.
Police now want the controversial socialite to explain more about her allegations in the video. She is also expected to provide the evidence implicating the president.
Bad Black is being investigated in relation to the Computer Misuse Act and Penal Code Act which restrain people against offensive communication.
She is required to appear before the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) before 27th February according to the summon signed by Joseph Obwona, the deputy director Criminal Investigations.
You are therefore in pursuant of the provisions of section 27A of the police Act (as amended) required to report before Acting Commissioner of Police Media crimes at CID headquarters Kabuki, Media Crimes Department on 27th February 2019 at 10am without fail.Part of the summon
