Mid way this week, seven hangouts in Kololo were dragged to court by five residents in the area over allegedly causing noise pollution.

Among the complainants, was Winnie Byanyima, the head of Oxfam International. E this morning KCCA has issued a letter confirming the closure of two of the seven hangouts that were reported.

Basing on the information cited by this website Atmosphere Lounge and Big Mike’s bar have been closed for noise pollution and flouting Public Health Regulations and lack of operational licenses.

Now we can at least confirm that the residents around and close the two shut down bars will afford to have peaceful nights and enjoy their sleep.

However, we are yet to hear from the owners of the closed bars but when information pops up we will keep you posted.
