Through the weekend, there has been a story involving Maj. Gen. Matayo Kyaligonza and his guards beating up a police woman after she stopped his car.

The video that made rounds on social media shows men in army uniforms roughing up a police woman in police uniform for allegedly stopping the car in which Kyaligonza was traveling.

The police officer only identified as Namaganda revealed that she blocked them because they were traveling in a vehicle with Burundian number plates.

Several artistes have since come out to condemn the act by Kyaligonza, who is Uganda’s Ambassador to Burundi. Some of those include Eddy Kenzo, Radio and Weasel, among others.

Bobi Wine has added his voice to the many who strongly condemn Kyaligonza’s behavior.

Bobi notes that such acts of impunity are the reason why he is fighting hard against the current regime.
