City socialite Shanitah Namuyimbwa a.k.a Bad Black has appeared at CID headquarters in Kibuli for questioning following a summon issued by police over a video she posted online in which she ‘offensively communicated’ about a top government official.

Clad in a white blouse and black pants, Bad Black showed up at the Criminal Investigations Directorate headquarters in Kibuli together with her lawyers Julius Galisonga and Sam Muyizzi.

It is alleged that seven months ago, the socialite posted a video online in which she made serious allegations about a senior government official.

Bad Black made the video in protest of the continued detention of Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Mr Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, who was arrested and jailed for allegedly stoning President Museveni’s car in Arua in August 2018.

She is alleged to have hurled insults at the senior official in the video. Interestingly however, the socialite apologized to the official through another video on social media and retracted her statements.

Months later, police has picked up interest in the case and she is willing to comply to their summons.

Well, we hope Bad Black makes it through this time because she has already served jail time before over fraud.
