Uganda’s tuberculosis ambassador, Moses Ssali, alias Bebe Cool has been invited as a panelist at high level Regional African TB summit in Kigali, Rwanda.
The summit is set to be held from 4th to 6th March, 2019 under the theme “Finding All People with TB“.
Bebe Cool was last year appointed Uganda’s Tuberculosis (TB) Ambassador and represented Uganda at the United Nations High Level Meeting on TB which was held in New York.
At the Kigali –Rwanda summit, Bebe Cool is expected to be part of two Panel discussions;
1. Finding all people with TB meeting. Bebe Cool is expected to share his views /perspectives as TB Champion for Uganda on finding missing people with TB .
2. High Level TB Symposium, Its time for Africa to lead the TB response. Bebe Cool will be speaking on behalf of music celebrities who are or wish to be TB Champions.
The Summit is expected to be attended by a number of foreign dignitaries from Africa and world over. They include; NTP Managers, SI/case finding focal persons, PR managers, CSO’s and Partners (Stop TB Partnership, the Global Fund, WHO, USAID, KIT Royal Tropical Institute and Interactive Research and Development)
