Bobi Wine’s statement on Uganda-Rwanda relations

For over a month, Uganda and Rwanda have been on tension over their border relations. Rwandese nationals were stopped from crossing to Uganda for several reasons.

Reportedly, business still remains paralyzed at the Katuna and Chanika towns at the Uganda-Rwanda border after the Rwanda customs officials allegedly failed to clear cargo trucks.

Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu a.k.a Bobi Wine has released his statement regarding the border tension between both countries.

Bobi believes that too many lives and livelihoods have been needlessly lost in previous flare-ups of war between the two countries as well as several millions being lost because of the current standoff.

He advises both countries, through their leaders, to take a shot at diplomacy in resolving the ongoing chaos so as to forge lasting peace in the region.
