8th March is International Women’s Day – a time when women all over the world are celebrated. Flavia Tumusiime has some advice for the ladies as they celebrate their day today.

More often than not, females have come off as inferior to the males. This extends beyond humans and it’s just the way it is.

Lately, however, that is becoming a norm of the past as women rise to take a fair share of superiority in the community and fight to be appreciated more.

Flavia Tumusiime, a Ugandan actress, radio and television host, voice-over artist, emcee and author of 30 Days of Flavia believes that women no longer have to wait for anyone to appreciate them because they can do it themselves.

The 30-years-old urges women to see the joy and light in their feminism and choose to celebrate themselves every single day without waiting for the applause to come from others.

She is right, isn’t she.

We join all women around the world in celebration of the International Women’s Day.
