Through the Whitaker Peace & Development Initiative, renown American actor Forest Whitaker looks forward to helping societies impacted by destructive conflicts to transform into safer and more prosperous communities.

Forest Whitaker arrived in Uganda on Monday afternoon and immediately went to Northern Uganda where he addressed several delegates under the WPDI project.

He visited the WPDI Community Learning Center and addressed youth peacemakers like he has been doing in different African countries in the past few days.

He shared a video of dancers performing the traditional Acholi dances as he expressed how od it is to always be in the +256.
