Ugandan rapper Katongole Derrick a.k.a Victor Kamenyo has put his foot forward and announced his ambitions to contest for the Rubaga North Member of Parliament seat come 2021.

Leadership is not about the next election. It’s about the next generation.”

Such were the words from rapper Victor Kamenyo as he made his ambitions to stand for the Rubaga North MP position known.

Since Bobi Wine’s breakthrough to parliament, many Ugandan artistes have taken it upon themselves to reveal their love and desire to become the next political leaders in the 2021 general elections.

Victor Kamenyo now joins Kalifah Aganaga, DJ Erycom, Jennifer Full Figure, Jose Chameleone, Geoffrey Lutaaya, Yung Mulo, among others who have stated intentions to take up top roles in Uganda’s politics.

Imagine all of them joining the parliament.
