Local deejay D Jay Fikie has defied the DJ Association of Uganda’s campaign that was passed over the weekend to mute singer Gravity Omutujju’s music.
The mute Gravity campaign was called on Saturday afternoon after the Kerere singer allegedly hit Radio City’s DJ Ciza with a bottle on Friday night while at a gig at Kyambogo University.
Not only did Gravity hit DJ Ciza with a bottle, but he also went on and vulgarly abused Galaxy FM’s DJ Deno when he requested him to apologize to Ciza over the Friday night fracas.
The DJ Association of Uganda sat on a round table and resolved the hashtag #MuteGravity which was aimed at stopping deejays from playing Gravity’s music anywhere in Uganda.
But due to misunderstandings and disunity in the DJ Association, D Jay Fikie publicly revealed that he will not abide by the associations campaign since they have never supported him in anything.
MBU DJ FIKIE F U DON’T STOP PLAYING GRAVITY MUZIK WE WON’T ADD U IN OUR ASSOCIATION.. HEHE MWALIWA NGA NTANDIKA… HAS D ASSOCIATION EVA SURPPOTED ME……… WAMA WE MEET KU FAME LOUNGE TONYT.
