While still working under one management, Irene Ntale and Winnie Nwagi were best of friends with dreams of developing their careers. Today they do not see eye-to-eye and the reason is quite interesting.

Despite the praise heaped on Swangz Avenue for its exceptional ability to nurture talent, there seems to be other loopholes hidden beneath the carpet.

For over two years now, Irene Ntale has been developing her music career as a solo artist since departing from Swangz Avenue.

Honestly speaking, she has done quite a good job on her own to stay relevant with just one manager, her sister, pulling the strings.

Ntale, during an interview, revealed that her relationship with Swangz Avenue artistes deteriorated ever since she left and she knows why.

Particularly, her former friend Winnie Nwagi is no longer as close as she used to be and the Pen & Paper singer believes that she was forced to do so by her bosses.

What happened between me and Nwagi is that she was forced to let go of the relationship (with me) because I was no longer with them. It is not like she wanted to do it and I also didn’t want to put her in a place of choosing because she had to choose her career and so listen to her manager.

Just like that, their friendship died out.
