Cindy has been in the game for over ten years having started out as a member of the Blu*3 trio. She, however, seems not to have experienced the love and loyalty that her fans showed in the past week.

For over a week now, the biggest talk in town has been about a proposed music battle between two top Ugandan songstresses; Cindy Sanyu vs Sheebah Karungi.

The battle, which started by Cindy referring to the trending female artists as dummies, gathered moss when Swangz Avenue’s Vinka arose in retaliation to Cindy’s ‘strong’ language.

Vinka couldn’t tell what hit her when the Cindycates (Cindy’s fans) stood firm and defended their artist’s statements.

Despite Sheebah pulling out of the battle, Cindy’s fans, followers, and other critics have kept on taunting the TNS songstress urging her to accept the battle challenge.

Some went ahead and made shirts branded ‘Nze Sili Dummy’ which seemed to have excited the King Herself.

She revealed that all the love and loyalty that was sent her way in the past week has been warmly felt and she is proud of her fans.

On the other hand, Sheebah believes that women should be supportive of each other and hence disregards the battle challenge. She is choosing to concentrate on producing more music because it is her strongest tool.
