Veteran local musician Daniel Kazibwe, alias Ragga Dee has been slapped with fresh charges after he allegedly failed to show up at Kampala City Hall court over the case of noise pollution regarding his Big Mike’s bar.

The fresh summons were issued by City Hall Court Grade One Magistrate, Mr Patrick Talisuna.

The charges come after Mr. David Mushabe, his lawyer, reportedly went to the magistrate’s chambers where it was revealed that the musician was in talks with the directors of Kampala Capital City Authority officials to have the matter resolved out of court.

Ragga Dee and his manager Ms. Ritah Nancy are wanted to explain why Kololo-based Big Mikes Bar produces noise beyond permissible levels.

On Monday Mr. Mushabe told journalists that his client is ready to take a plea in case the state has completed its investigations.
